FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is property staging?

Property staging is the art of transforming an empty shell into a home that sells, by adding furniture, textiles, art etc.

It is one of the best investments in terms of ROI for maximising property sales and fast occupancy to get the highest return on your property.

Research shows that 83% of clients viewing a property cannot visualise an empty space, therefore home staging is an essential tool to enable buyers to see a space to its full potential

  • How much does staging cost?

Costs will depend on the size and location of the property, what it is to be used for and the client’s budget. For example, if you need to furnish a property for long term rent or serviced accommodation, you will require more durable furnishings to accommodate high footfall compared with a stage for sale or show home stage where the furnishings will not be used.

Typically staging costs in the UK come in at 1-1.5% of the listing price but will depend on the size and style of the property, the location etc.

  • Is staging worth the investment?

UK homes that have been staged sell significantly faster, often about 58 days sooner than unstaged homes. They typically sell for around 8–10 % more than comparable unstaged properties.

Some market data shows staged properties in the UK can add £18,000–£30,000+ to the final sale price, with vacant staged homes sometimes adding even higher amounts.

  • How long does it take to stage a property?

We can stage your property within 14 days of you reaching out to us. If you need staging services sooner get in touch and we will see if we have availability.

Once an enquiry is made and a visual mock up has been approved, we agree an installation date and collect the keys aiming to complete staging within 24-48 hours, dependent on the size of the property.
